WRITING FASTER & BETTER

As resume writers and coaches, there's no doubt that our #1 goal is to write high-quality documents - resumes, cover letters, e-notes, LinkedIn profiles, career bios, and all of the career marketing messages our clients will need. Yet it's just as important that we be productive - able to write fast and create as many documents as possible.

If you're self-employed, it's straightforward. The more resumes you write, the more money you make. That's true whether you're writing for your own clients or subcontract writing for other resume companies. It's all about how many resumes and related documents you can write each day, each week, and each month.

CHALLENGE: What can you do to quicken the pace at which you write so that you can get more resumes out the door every day?

If you work for a college or university, a military transition office, a workforce development center, or any other organization, being productive can be even more challenging because you're often supporting large groups of job seekers. Your goal is to help as many people as you possibly can, often with limited resources.

CHALLENGE: How can you be more efficient and productive without diminishing the quality of resources your job seekers receive?

We'll answer these questions and many others in this E-Summit, pulling from the long list of queries we've received over the years about this specific topic. We'll share:

  • How and why we're able to write fast - the underlying strategies and the “mechanics” of how we produce great documents quickly.
  • Our 6-step plan to writing faster and better. If you follow these recommendations, you WILL accelerate the speed at which you can produce every document you write.
  • Additional strategies you can experiment with to determine those that work best for YOU. As with anything else, some “tricks of the trade” will work best for some people; other tricks, best for others.
  • Basic building blocks that will validate your knowledge and expertise and boost your confidence. Once that happens, you will move more quickly through each section of each document.
  • Valuable resources that will quicken your writing speed - instantly and over time! Some are an immediate solution while others must be developed and nurtured.
  • How to get out of your own way and STOP questioning yourself at every juncture - every word, phrase, sentence, and paragraph - and just write!

As with all of our E-Summits, you'll receive a content-rich portfolio of handouts for the class - samples of resumes, cover letters, e-letters, bios, and other career marketing communications, along with additional writing tools and resources that you can put to use immediately.

This program is offered via MP3 audio recording, and each attendee will receive the audio recording link, so you can listen - over and over - whenever you wish.

Cost: $69 (includes program and all materials)
